AquaClimb Summer Marketing Intern
AquaClimbs mission is to build courageous kids for lifes great adventure. We provide innovative adventure recreation and fitness solutions to pools worldwide, so that kids of all ages can step outside their comfort zone and experience risk in a safe controlled environment, which leads to a wide range of mental and physical health benefits for participants. We are a US manufacturer based in Maryland, providing poolside elements since 2005. This position is for candidates located in Boulder County, CO, reporting to the Sales Manager in Lafayette, CO.

The right candidate will demonstrate excellent written and communication skills as well as an enthusiasm to learn and work effectively. This is the perfect opportunity for a self-starter who is looking to gain hands-on experience. If you are able to receive college credit for the internship, we are prepared to sponsor you.
Your day to day will look different but the high level tasks include:
-Managing our blog and overall content strategy
-Creatively running our social media accounts
-Effectively promoting our content on a variety of channels
-Designing webinars and cold email outreach campaigns
-Implementing customer survey
-Reporting & analytics
Responsibilities:
This position will involve in-depth marketing strategy and hands-on applications. You will research, communicate with management, maintain and update critical information in our CRM system, and participate in various marketing related tasks/ projects
Management of social media outlets (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and Twitter)
Corporate brand management
Create digital content and distribute to social media platforms
Extensive research to boost organic following on social media platforms
Create electronic and print marketing flyers, brochures, ads, social media banners, etc.
Generate content for follow-up emails and email campaigns
Refine scheduling and content of social media
Excellent verbal and written communications in English
Ability to multi-task and effectively prioritize work collaboratively within a team
Keen attention to detail and strong work ethic
Proficiency in Microsoft Office products and particularly Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Proficiency in Google Products including Google Search, Google Drive, and Gmail
Qualifications:
Undergraduate candidate pursuing a BA/BS degree (Business, Marketing, Public Relations, or Human Resources is preferred)
Requires high school diploma
Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above
Must be 18 years of age or older
Unrestricted Authorization to work in the US
Work independently and as part of a collaborative team
Work with people in a wide variety of settings and situations
Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously with an ability to pay attention to details
Excellent written and verbal communications skills
Must have strong computer proficiency
1099 independent contract employee

Hands down - You will learn how business works not just what they say in the classroom. You will learn real business and critical thinking skills that will help you get a job post college.
Guidelines:
You decide your hours - great flexibility and ability to work remotely. This position is a remote position that will require onsite weekly team meetings in Boulder County. If you are able to receive college credit for the internship we are prepared to sponsor 2019. Internship begins June 1, 2019 for a 2 month time period, with option to continue. We are looking for 15-22 hour per week commitment, work from home position.
Potential candidates must have their own computer. Position is a contract position.
