Personal & Production Assistant for Storyworks, Creative Agency/Film Company
This is an opportunity to work with a social impact, purposeful Creative Agency/Film Company working on a number of diverse and exciting projects in our studio 10 min north of Boulder, CO. The position would be to support the team in a wide range of personal and production assistant tasks.
We are looking for an assistant who is excited and energetic, has a positive attitude, and who is a team player. This job requires someone who has an amazing work ethic, who is fast, smart, tech savvy, and has great attention to detail. Musts are strong writing skills, strong academic record, organized, knowledge in using Mac computers and production software and is self motivated. It is a bonus if you have any social media, video editing, graphic design, filmmaking or other multimedia production skills.
Storyworks is a creative agency that has been "Unleashing Greatness" for 20+ years with work and clients that are good for the people, good for the planet. We are currently finishing a documentary film called WeRiseUP which we are taking to Sundance in a few weeks. We have three additional films in development around the theme of The Future of Humanity.
The position is a great opportunity for recent college graduates or someone earlier in their career looking to learn about business, film, branding, media, and more. The position will start immediately at 20-25 hours per week and then if it is a good fit, will increase to 30-40 hours per week.
Daily Tasks (Things you are great at):
Personal assistant tasks
General administrative organization
Light bookkeeping
Project management assisting
Production assistance
Additional Tasks (Things you do or want to learn to do):
Social media management
Blog production
Production Coordination
Graphic design/production art with Adobe Creative Cloud (Illustrator, Photoshop)
Video and sound editing using Adobe Creative Cloud (Premiere, After Effects)
Since we are a smaller company the job offers a variety of tasks and roles, which change day to day. Must be willing to take on multiple hats and diverse roles.
This is a paid hourly freelance position. Must be able to commute to home studio north of Boulder.
