The Business Support Specialist is a key interface between Dynamic Design & Mfg., Inc. and its customers.
This position requires a proactive communicator. This person must be comfortable on the phone as well as in person and by email. This person supports the Business Development group including the sales staff and engineering staff.
Essential Functions
1. Communicate with Dynamic Design & Manufacturing customers and/or prospective customers on the phone and through email in a professional and courteous manner.
Process incoming Purchase Orders into Sales Orders using the company ERP system.
o Confirm pricing and delivery on incoming orders to customers.
o Create manufacturing jobs for the floor from Sales Orders when prudent.
Respond to status requests from customers.
Forward technical requests to engineering when needed.
Forward quote requests to sales when needed.
Forward any miscellaneous requests to the proper Dynamic personnel as needed.
2. Required to become comfortable and fluent in the use of company data management systems, including Microsoft and Epicor products.
3. This person is essential support for the Business Development group. Excellent overall communication skills are a must.
Will be required to be a liaison at times on technical issues between engineering and end customers.
Will be required at times to communicate with customers on project specific sales related issues.
Should be comfortable within company meetings contributing and discussing any issues at hand.
4. This person should be able to communicate both intercompany and to customers with a healthy balance of Company advocacy and Customer advocacy.
5. This persons work center will be located in the company reception area. This person should be comfortable greeting visitors and be able to present themselves in a professional and courteous manner.
