Position Title: Quality Inspection/Inventory
Essential Job Functions:
The Quality Inspection/Receiving department is responsible for all activities in the department including but not limited to the complete inspection of all material through use of measuring equipment, parts drawings & PMI equipment. Receipt of all incoming material and inhouse manufactured parts using multiple computer databases. This position will also include Inventory.
Essential Job Requirements:
Must be able to read drawings.
Inspection and Receipt of all of incoming and internally made material.
PMI Inspection
Maintenance of lot control database with creation of all new lot numbers
Visual Weld Inspection
Math and analytical skills.
Basic to intermediate computer skills including Outlook, Excel and Word.
Reasoning abilities: ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
Effective verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to communicate and work well with people of all levels.
Ability to work well under pressure in fast paced environment.
Inventory maintenance and cycle counts
Education: High School Diploma or GED is preferred
Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience in inspection/receiving type atmosphere.
Required Skills: Ability to properly use inspection tools such as Calipers and tape measure. This will be tested in the interview. Strong troubleshooting skills, self-motivated and proactive.
Physical Requirements: Must possess the ability to lift at least 50 pounds and stand and walk each day.
