Spectralink Corporation seeks Development Operations Engineer in Boulder, Colorado.
Responsibilities: Responsible for monitoring and troubleshooting web-based servers by utilizing electrical engineering software tools and hardware to service various platforms. Create and maintain all branching activities, software processes, and scripts, in order to optimize our service. Enhance overall application security and performance. Develop and implement all layers of our embedded and web-based software, systems, and applications. Manage the incremental builds for all products based on suggested code changes from fellow developers. Utilize the best practices of Software Configuration Management and guide the development and integration of automated software deployment. Manage the troubleshooting process to ensure overall software security and integrity. Handle all code signing activity during product releases utilizing secure software signing mechanisms like HSM and secure key signing. Evaluation of back-ups and to perform system vulnerability testing and ensure fail-safe deployment. Triage failures, recovery and restore production systems with minimum downtime. Other duties as assigned.
Education: Master’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Information Technology, or related technical field.
Requirements: 2 years in the job offered or related positions.
Other Special Requirements include: 2 years of experience in improving build processors and build scripts utilizing platforms and software systems such as Jenkins, Maven build-flows, MakeFiles, Python scripts, or similar; 2 years of experience in implementing and improving automated testing processes; 2 years of experience monitoring and administering engineering servers and services such as JIRA, Subversion, HyperV, or similar; and 2 years of experience with Virtual Box, Gerrit, Linux, and source code management client tools such as SVN, Stash, Source Tree, Bash or similar.
In lieu of a Master’s degree in the stated/related fields (or foreign equivalent) and 2 years of experience in the job offered or related positions, Spectralink will accept candidates with a Bachelor’s degree in the stated/related fields (or foreign equivalent) and 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or related positions.
