We are a high-end custom cabinet and furniture shop seeking an experienced cabinet maker. You will be required to work independently with support. This is not an assembly line job, so productivity and accuracy will be rewarded. This is an opportunity to work with a great team that functions with mutual respect. We expect you to put your ego aside while receiving guidance and instruction from management, but warmly welcome ideas, methods and strategies after you have familiarized yourself with the company standards and expectations.
Our company expects punctuality and taking ownership for all work. You will be expected to know and develop skills such as setting up and operating a shaper, running a wide belt sander, building passage and cabinet doors, building face frames, cutting and machining cabinet parts, veneering, joinery, and sanding. You will also be expected to check for machining accuracy before running any and all jobs. We are looking for a true journeyman that is able to think on their feet and problem solve during the duration of any project with minimal oversight.
