Hello and thanks for taking the time to view my ad. I am looking to hire a lead carpenter and possibly a carpenter to add to my team. I am a busy builder/general contractor with lots of remodel work lined up. I have been in business for myself for about 20 years now. I specialize in high end custom work with an eye for detail. My companies main goal is to always leave the customer completely satisfied. The ideal applicant would have at least five years experience in carpentry , be completely proficient with power tools and comfortable reading plans as well as having the ability to lead a small crew. The current project we are working on is in Gold Hill, but several others are lined up in the Nederland area. To be considered for this position you must also have your own tools such as a skill saw, nail gun, compressor, drill, etc. Duties will include layout,framing, window and door installation, siding/exterior trim, interior trim, setting cabinets and some demolition. My company has all the equipment needed to aid with these tasks including a fork lift that we often use for framing and moving materials. This year all our work is remodel/addition work, but next year I have a new custom home or two lined up.
