Responsible for budget monitoring, construction quality and safety on the project site

Prepares monthly contract status reports, budget reviews, amendment requests and negotiations

Responsible for working as a team with the contractor, client, field team and designer

Responsible for review of work, rejection of defective work, inspections and testing

Daily report writing

Responsible for preparation of meeting agendas and portions of proposals

Qualifications

10+ years experience including a lead role in $30 million or greater wastewater treatment facility project

Completion of OSHA 10-hour safety course and other construction safety training

Thorough understanding of construction management processes and in-depth financial understanding of construction management

Ability to communicate effectively with clients, contractors and lead engineer/project team, and deliver high quality services within budget and schedule constraints

Highly motivated self-starter with the ability to learn quickly and be extremely organized

Working knowledge of construction management software including Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project

Working knowledge and understanding of construction methods, standards, specifications and plans

Strong oral and written communications skills

Strong computer and internet skills

Proficient in MS Word and Excel

High School Diploma or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications

Associate of Scienceor Bachelor of Science in Engineering or Construction related program

Proficient in Document Management Systems (i.e. Procore, Bentley PW/EADoc, etc.)

OSHA 30-hour safety course

Certified Construction Manager or ability to obtain certification

Pay Range$100,000 to $150,000 annually. This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future.
