Come join us and #BeCode42YOU'LL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:Designing and implementing code for assigned projects, both independentlyand with teammates, taking into account needs for monitoring,supportability, and testability.Writing unit and integration tests for your team's code.Testing, debugging, and troubleshooting all across the Code42 technologystack.Documenting code and design, and reviewing code and design docs from others.Demoing progress on team deliverables.Synthesizing requirements into cohesive designs, identifying gaps andcontradictions.Collaborating with teammates.SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS:Bachelor's degree and 2-5 years professional experience, or canconvincingly demonstrate this level of skill.Experienced in the primary languages of the team .NET Core (or typically acombination of Java, C#, JavaScript, C/C)Experienced with object-oriented development for multi-tier developmentExperienced with building API layers in a micro-service environmentExperienced with testing frameworks used by the team such as junit, nunit,mocha, karmaIs familiar with continuous integration and deployment concepts.Is familiar with data repository technologies (ie: relational databases,Elasticsearch, NoSQL)Is experienced with agile/lean development processesIs comfortable taking ownership of deliverables as part of a team.Is comfortable working in a collaborative environment, both offering andasking for help when it's needed.Is comfortable working with non-technical staff.Has a passion for building systems that work well.Clearly able to communicate technical ideas to peers in written and verbalformPREFERRED:Have experience with some additional languages (any of the above list, aswell as languages like python, go, TypeScript, Kotlin)Provide real-world examples of production-quality work you've done in the pastAre active in the local tech communityHave contributed to open-source software in the pastCode42 is an Equal opportunity Employer, M/F/Disability/Veteran.
