System Engineer Mid-Level REMOTE position is available courtesy of Modis. We are looking for a candidate with

7-10 years of experience in Linux Kernel, Linux BSP and Linux debugging.

  • Location: Remote

  • Contract Length: 1 yr

  • Pay: $62-$66/hr. (depending on experience)

    • System Engineer MUST HAVE skills include:
  • Rich experience in Linux Kernel, Linux BSP and Linux debugging
  • Good understanding of Secure Boot support in Embedded processors
  • Understand certificate management and certificate signing in Embedded products
  • Hands on experience in solving security issues that span software and hardware
  • Very good in communication

    • System Engineer GOOD TO HAVE skills include:
  • Linux Kernel upstreaming contribution preferred
  • TPM, ARM TrustZone, cryptography, storage, networking
  • Knowledgeable in threat modeling and other risk assessment skills including supply chain evaluation
  • Networking domain
  • Experience related to AMD SEV, Intel SGX is a huge plus
  • Understanding of management techniques and standards like KMIP
  • Deep understanding of the PKI security model

    • Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering
  • 7 - 10 years' experience
  • Must be fully vaccinated
  • H1s are okay if your visa is 12 months or longer
