We are seeking an experienced Desktop Support Tech to provide and support Desktop Support Equipment (desktops, laptops, tablets, mobile devices, scanners, plotters, printers, badge printers, conference room devices (including audio / video), televisions, and fax machines), Desktop Support Images, and services environments, including managing device images and the Desktop Support IT product order fulfillment process. Local candidates only, must be onsite daily, no remote. Duration is 6 months with likely extension.Standard day shift Monday through Friday. However, this Tech must be available for occasional on-call support for evenings and weekends.This is a high energy, fast-paced environment. You need to be able to work independently as well as be a team player. You will not be bored!You will sporatically be driving within a 60 mile radius, you will receive mileage reimbursement.Desktop Support Services can include:
- Planning and consulting support for purchasing of hardware, software, and peripheral products
- Core and application image build (physical, virtual, mobile) and deployment
- Client Confidential Information
- Mobile devices and software management including management, operations and technical support of Client's mobile device management platform, Factory Engineering and Image Deployment Services and other Desktop Support Services addressed in this Schedule
- IMACDs
- Level 2 Support (for Service Request fulfillment and Incident Resolution of Desktop Support Equipment and Desktop Support Software)
- End User computing access administration
- 3 years of related work experience, or AA degree, or technical training, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- A+ certification preferred
- Windows 10 environment with some exposure to Mac
- Conference room setup for AV support
- Windows server support
- VIP support
- Networking
- Desktop / laptop break-fix experience
- PC imaging and backup experience
- Device Management experience
- Solid experience and understanding of IT services and products
- Enthusiastic about technology and willing to learn and stay on the cutting edge
- Relatable and responsible when interacting with ALL customers
