RESPONSIBILITIES:Kforce has a client in Centennial, CO that is seeking a Network Administrator ready to take over the day-to-day operations of our computer networks. This is an on-site position. You are the perfect candidate if you thrive under pressure and accept challenges with a look of determination in your eyes. You aren't afraid to meet with our senior officers and listen to their needs, no matter how large, and you won't hesitate to go back to your office and research the best network solutions to meet those needs. You can help design an internal and external infrastructure that will knock our socks off, and you can help justify the cost, too.
Responsibilities: Network Administrator will monitor network performance and integrity Configure and install firewalls, switches, voip, and other network devices Help design and deploy functional networks (LAN, WLAN, WAN, SDWAN) As a Network Administrator, you will maintain network facilities, inventory, rack/unrack equipment as necessary, and maintain proper cable management Suggest improvements to network performance, capacity, and scalability Create, oversee, and test security measures (e.g.: access authentication and disaster recovery) Create and maintain technical documentation Research and analyze new network technologies and present suggestions for upgrades to improve the existing network Network Administrators automate tasks and monitor their effectiveness Communicate with users when needed Vendor ManagementREQUIREMENTS: BSc/BA in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field 4+ years of industry-related experience as a Network Engineer or Network Administrator Solid background in network administration Excellent understanding of communication protocols (mainly TCP/IP) and routing protocols (e.g.: BGP, OSPF) Familiarity with access control models and network security (e.g.: 802.1x) Knowledge of coding languages for scripting Solid understanding of network operating systems (Fortigate, UniFi, Cisco IOS) Great at organizing, prioritizing, and multitasking Nice to have: Professional certification (e.g.: Network+, CCNA, CCNP)Kforce is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
