Job Description
Seeking A Couple Production Planners for our Growing Team!Responsible for managing the schedules, availability of manufactured and purchased items, and assemblies related to an assigned project. Creates detailed production schedules and shop orders for assigned projects. Identifies and tracks the resolution of shortages, monitors completeness of assemblies and coordinates their release. Responsible for reviewing and acting on order release, action and exception messages from the ERP/MRP system. Monitors returns to stock, additional unplanned stock issues and project-related documents for accuracy and initiates ECR's as appropriate. Works with product Expeditor(s) to coordinate delivery of material to jobs.KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE/SKILLS: 4-year degree or 2 year degree/education with an acceptable amount of additional direct Production Planning experience/training in a manufacturing environment. Significant planning experience may be substituted for degree requirement. Must be able to read and interpret engineering drawings, engineering specifications, bills of material and engineering change orders. Must have excellent computer skills including MRP/ERP system and Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel. IFS ERP system experience a significant plus.
