We're doing it by building the country's first virtualized, standalone 5G wireless network from scratch. Equipped with Boost Mobile and its 9 million customers as the newest part of the DISH brand, we're setting our sights on competing in the prepaid and postpaid retail wireless market as the nation's fourth facilities-based mobile carrier.

This Sr. Program Manager will be working within the Boost Mobile Platform and Project Management Team under the Boost Operations team. They will be working in a collaborative and fast-paced environment spanning the Boost Mobile and broader Dish organizations.

Responsibilities :
  • Reports to Director and p rovide effective leadership, drive successful, on-time delivery of launch, schedule, scope and budget for strategic initiatives for Infinite and Executive mandate, high visibility complex projects
  • Launch planning coordination and support including warranty period
  • Effectively manage and resolve risks or issues in a timely manner
  • Manage and assist with prioritization of Infinite new project requests and manage backlog
  • Conduct and lead team meetings to effectively achieve project goals; obtain feedback and approvals for requirements documents
  • Provide accurate, current project status and updates to team and Executives
  • Be the business lead/POC representative into IT teams collaborating to ensure all appropriate business team members are included in requirements, use cases, and customer experience meetings, as necessary
  • Be a business advocate with various IT and other cross functional teams. This will require understanding of the products and services being requested and the impacts to the business
  • Create a culture of sharing/learning and motivating amongst team members and cross-functional teams; build team relationships
Skills, Experience and Requirements:
  • BA/BS in a technical or business discipline, or
  • 8-10 years of Project Manager, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Experience launching products and services to the consumer market
  • Excellent organizational, facilitation, and written/verbal communication skills required
  • Ability to extract, document and manage cross functional team tasks to completion
  • Ability to matrix manage cross functional team members
  • Self-motivated with strong, proven, analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional resources and work well in a rapidly changing environment
  • Ability to extract, document and manage cross functional technical and Marketing team tasks to completion
  • Ability to advocate for business needs while keeping projects on track
  • Experience in the wireless industry preferred

The base pay range shown is a guideline. Individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, and competencies; compensation is based on the role's location and is subject to change based on work need to successfully complete a pre-employment screen, which may include a drug test and DMV check.

Salary Range: USD $76300.00 - $109000.00 / Year
