All current and newly hired employees are required to follow onsite safety measures based upon the COVID-19 Community Level at the specific work location.Description:Systems Engineer responsible for contributing to Model-Based System Engineering (MBSE) implementation across SSC programs. The successful candidate will lead and employ Model Based Systems Engineering approaches to developing Systems Engineering products using SysML and MBSE tools to capture, maintain, and visualize needed views of model data to communicate system design and facilitate automation of Systems Engineering integration with other domains.

Specifically:- Ability to lead MBSE efforts on multiple programs; solicit stakeholder needs for MBSE implementation- Develops architecture and interface documentation from model data- Elicits stakeholder needs and requirements from model data- Uses system design data from model to develop assembly, integration and verification data from model- Must have the ability to obtain a Clearance (Top Secret) and maintain this level of clearance if the selected candidate does not already have it. As such, certain citizenship requirements apply.

The successful candidate will also take on additional central MBSE tasks, as needed.Basic Qualifications:- Experience performing Systems Engineering activities - Familiar with Model Based Systems Engineering practices and implementation- Familiar with Model Based Systems Engineering toolsDesired Skills:Desired skills :- Experience using a system modeling tools (Rhapsody, MagicDraw, etc) to solve systems engineering problems.- Experience with system engineering missile defense systems- Understanding and working knowledge of SysML- Experience with process development and deployment- Experience with DOORS- Working knowledge of MBSE-related Digital Engineering activities and implementation- Familiar with Agile Methodologies- Ability to obtain a Top Secret Clearance

Pay Rate:In compliance with Colorado's Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the annual base salary range for this position is $68,700 - $114,500 . Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as, market and business considerations when extending an offer.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
