We are seeking a Wireless Engineer 2 to join our Customer Provided Equipment WiFi Development team in the Englewood, CO office. Ideally we are looking for a skilled, Wireless Network Engineer with experience creating repeatable test cases and someone who is motivated to help us improve processes and create best standards within our lab.

Required Skills:

  • 3+ years with Wireless Network Experience
  • 3+ years Developing test cases -Fundamental Networking experience including route and switch
  • Experienced with testing equipment and test methodologies
  • Self-motivated and driven
  • Ability to think outside the box and is creative!
Additional Skills:

  • Experience working with any MSO
  • Experience with 802.11 standard
  • Experience with the following testing tools: Ixia, Spirent, Octobox and Rohde & Schwarz Education:
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred or equivalent professional experience
Travel: 50% Office/lab Environment

Job Description

You will be working inside the Wi-Fi Team for Client, supporting Customer Provided Equipment (CPE Devices/routers) testing and development. As a member of the Firmware and Feature Development Team, you will be working directly with router hardware and our test tools to develop and validate test cases that certify features as they are developed on routers. This job requires intrinsic motivation, a lot of self-directed achievement and an ability to work with a dynamic, fast-paced work load.

Skills:

  • Understanding and working knowledge of WiFi Protocols
  • Proficient data networking knowledge (OSI Model, Protocols, basic route/switch)
  • Experience with WiFi Functional, Performance or Stability testing
  • Prefer experience developing test cases and test methodologies
  • Proficient in scripting/programming languages
