UMR, UnitedHealthcare's third-party administrator solution, is seeking an experienced designer who is highly creative and business savvy who loves to stay busy, own projects, and interact/collaborate with multiple co-workers. The successful candidate will have a 'can-do' attitude and a passion for working collaboratively to create clean, polished, engaging materials in multiple media. He or she will be expected to demonstrate an understanding of how good design is a powerful tool to drive business results, including sales and renewal efforts, as well as part of marketing campaigns targeted to customers and members. We are looking for a candidate who can design fluently in multiple media, beyond the expected InDesign and Photoshop, including, advanced PowerPoint presentation skills. PDF interactive, and HTML e-mail design skills would be a big plus. Experience working collaboratively with writers and other partners to brainstorm and concept creative communications solutions is also required. You'll enjoy the flexibility to telecommute from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges. Primary Responsibilities:

  • Supporting external sales and C-suite persons to develop polished, professional materials on brand to UMR - high pressure/quick turnaround
  • Develop materials in multiple mediums from digital to print with emphasis on using PowerPoint, Word and Adobe Creative Suite as an effective way to communicate UMR's brand and voice.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to craft custom content and design work as required
  • Balance great design with short deadlines and multiple priorities.
  • Support the production process and technical implementation of communications materials
  • Manage and maintain marketing communications assets in line with establish UMR brand standards and procedures

Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Design or equivalent degree
  • 3+ years of Graphic Design experience
  • 3+ years of Expert level skill in executing presentations, communication campaigns and/or design in multiple media, such as PowerPoint/Microsoft suite, InDesign/Adobe Creative Suite, etc
  • If you need to enter a work site for any reason, you will be required to screen for symptoms using the ProtectWell mobile app, Interactive Voice Response (i.e., entering your symptoms via phone system) or a similar UnitedHealth Group-approved symptom screener. When in a UnitedHealth Group building, employees are required to wear a mask in common areas, In addition, employees must comply with any state and local masking orders.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Health care experience
  • Skilled at working within a corporate brand playbook
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong project management skills and customer-focused attitude
  • Experience working within a matrix organization and or in-house design team
  • Interactive design and/or HTML e-mail skills
  • Expert in information graphics and PowerPoint design
  • Marketing Cloud (Salesforce) experience
  • Universal Accessibility Training/expertise
  • Workfront experience

Colorado Residents Only: The salary range for Colorado residents is $53,300 to $95,100.
