Live life at the top!DescriptionUnder direct supervision, performs a variety of routine warehouse duties involving the receiving, unloading, inventory, storing, movement, and distribution of goods and materials at assigned site.Receive, inspect and unload goods and materials and place into inventory

Process reservations and issue material to end users utilizing the systems as defined by the company

Receive and review orders for goods and materials

Review inventory records to determine availability

Pull requested items and stage for delivery

Communicate with customers to notify if any possible delays are expected

Update Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) as needed to

Maintain records of delivered items and remaining inventory

Initiate restock of items as necessary

Update manual or automated inventory listings

Operate a variety of light equipment, hand trucks and vehicles within a warehouse environment

Deliver material to end users, capture proof of delivery signatures, and maintain a record of delivered items

Perform cycle counting

Perform other duties as required including housekeeping and safety related tasks

QualificationsMinimum QualificationsOne (1) year of related experience in Warehousing, Material Handling/Inventory or Customer Service

Basic understanding of warehouse inventory control systems, purchase orders and accounts payable processes and methods

Basic computer skills with a minimum proficiency in email

Able to operate a variety of light equipment, hand trucks and vehicles within a warehouse environment

Good customer service skills

Display a professional can-do attitude

Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing

Ability to maintain awareness of occupational hazards and safety precautions

Skilled in following safety practices and recognizing hazards 

PreferredHigh School diploma or GED

Experienced computer skills in SAP, MS Excel, and Materials Management Software

Criteria/ConditionsAbility to understand and apply verbal and written work and safety-related instructions and procedures given in English

Ability to communicate in English with respect to job assignments, job procedures, and applicable safety standards

Must be able to work in a potentially stressful environment

Occasionally may be required to lift moderately heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) during the course of the workday

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, sit, demonstrate manual dexterity, climb stairs and ladders, work on elevated platforms, talk, hear and see

Work is performed in a mine or manufacturing plant setting, which may include exposure to extremes in temperature and humidity, moving mechanical parts, risk of electrical shock, toxic chemicals, explosives, fumes or airborne particles

Personal protective equipment is required when performing work in a mine, outdoor, manufacturing or plant environment, including hard hat, hearing protection, safety glasses, safety footwear, and as needed, respirator, rubber steel-toe boots, protective clothing, gloves and any other protective equipment as required
