Job Title: Cyber Security Engineer Location: Denver, Co Duration: Long-term Primary duties and responsibilities include: style="text-shadow:none; font-weight:normal" Serve as the primary point of contact for all major Incidents style="text-shadow:none; font-weight:normal" Responsible for planning and coordinating all the activities required to perform, style="text-shadow:none; font-weight:normal" monitor, and report on security incidents style="text-shadow:none; font-weight:normal" Provide technical analysis to Senior Management via synopses, and style="text-shadow:none; font-weight:normal" presentations style="text-shadow:none; font-weight:normal" Responsible for the effective implementation of the incident response process style="text-shadow:none; font-weight:normal" and carries out the respective reporting procedure style="text-shadow:none; font-weight:normal" Represent the first stage of escalation for security incidents style="text-shadow:none; font-weight:normal" Drive incidents to a conclusion based on SLA's and Criticality level style="text-shadow:none; font-weight:normal" Identify, initiate, schedule and conduct incident reviews and post mortems style="text-shadow:none; font-weight:normal" Ensure the closure of all resolved and end-user confirmed Incident records style="text-shadow:none; font-weight:normal" Establish continuous process improvement cycles where the process style="text-shadow:none; font-weight:normal" performance, activities, roles and responsibilities, policies, procedures and style="text-shadow:none; font-weight:normal" supporting technology is reviewed and enhanced where applicable style="text-shadow:none; font-weight:normal" Educational Qualifications: style="text-shadow:none; font-weight:normal" Bachelors or equivalent experience style="text-shadow:none; font-weight:normal" CISSP, GCIH, CISM is a plus style="text-shadow:none; font-weight:normal" PMP is a plus style="text-shadow:none; font-weight:normal" A successful candidate will have the following: style="text-shadow:none; font-weight:normal" 5+ years of professional experience, working in a security operations role style="text-shadow:none; font-weight:normal" Experience in security device management and SIEM style="text-shadow:none; font-weight:normal" In-depth knowledge of security concepts such as cyber-attacks and techniques, style="text-shadow:none; font-weight:normal" threat vectors style="text-shadow:none; font-weight:normal" Familiarity with risk management, controls frameworks, and incident response style="text-shadow:none; font-weight:normal" lifecycle style="text-shadow:none; font-weight:normal" Experience in threat management style="text-shadow:none; font-weight:normal" Proficient in preparation of reports, dashboards and documentation style="text-shadow:none; font-weight:normal" Excellent communication and leadership skills style="text-shadow:none; font-weight:normal" Experience in performing vendor management style="text-shadow:none; font-weight:normal" Ability to solve complex problems with information technology software and style="text-shadow:none; font-weight:normal" hardware style="text-shadow:none; font-weight:normal" style="text-shadow:none; font-weight:normal" Experience maintaining incident logs and processing incident reports for review style="text-shadow:none; font-weight:normal" with upper management style="text-shadow:none; font-weight:normal" Experience providing training for technical support teams style="text-shadow:none; font-weight:normal" Understanding of crisis management, Business continuity and disaster recovery style="text-shadow:none; font-weight:normal" procedures style="text-shadow:none; font-weight:normal" Experience developing procedural manuals for various IT issues style="text-shadow:none; font-weight:normal" Ability to handle and perform in stressful situations style="text-shadow:none; font-weight:normal" Attention to detail style="text-shadow:none; font-weight:normal" Good Analytical skills, Problem solving and Interpersonal skills style="text-shadow:none; font-weight:normal" Experience in verbal and written communications, and translating technical style="text-shadow:none; font-weight:normal" concepts into a business context Looking forward to work with you!
