Come be a part of our mission! Northrop Grumman Space Systems (NGSP) is looking for you to join our team as a Sr. Principal Product Owner - Information Technology based out of Colorado Springs, CO. What You'll get to Do: Candidate will serve as the Product Team Product Owner (similar to SAFe Product Manager) for the C2BMC Information Technology (IT) Product Team, across two geographically separated locations. Candidate will be responsible for driving value delivery for the infrastructure of a complex missile defense command and control system. Specify stakeholder needs to drive the frequent delivery of value to the customer. Coordinate and prioritize needs for multiple Task Orders across multiple Product Teams. Contribute to the overall C2BMC Program Roadmap. Assess progress and report status to Leadership. Act as the technical interface with the Government. Manage stakeholder expectations. Work with other Product Teams to plan and execute C2BMC releases. Interface with the Run Ahead, System Architecture and Technical Leadership Teams and communicate priorities to the Product Team. Support preparation and presentation of briefings and demonstrations to customer. The candidate is required to support the accomplishment of Earned Value Management, by working closely with the CAMs providing the supporting information to assess EV performance, and prepare variances and ETCs. Basic Qualifications: If applicable, please note your updated security clearance and IAT/relevant certifications on your resume. An active Secret clearance is required. 9 Years with Bachelor's degree in a related field; 13 years' experience in lieu of a degree. Experience leading and managing cross functional teams in the development and integration of distributed, real-time software systems. Demonstrated experience in performing stakeholder management in a large, complex Development program. Proven leadership experience with full life cycle development on large, integrated DoD systems, including requirements development and interpretation, design, implementation and test, fielding and maintenance. Demonstrated experience as either a Product Manager or a Product Owner. Demonstrated experience specifying customer needs and managing customer priorities. Experience and understanding of Earned Value Management in a software development environment. Use of common Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) tools such as GitLab, Nexus, Ansible, NetBox and Tower Experience with database servers, application servers, web servers, DHCP and DNS, NAS and SAN, and backup systems. Preferred Qualifications: Good working knowledge of Ballistic Missile Defense concepts, Battle Management and Command and Control (BM/C2) systems, defense communications systems, and the BMDS is highly desired. Team management/leadership in an Agile environment is desired. Experience with System Administration on Windows and/or Linux platforms. Help Desk methodologies. Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) experience a plus Command and control system application development. Experience with Software Integration and formal testing. Knowledge and experience implementing Cyber Security/RMF requirements. Security+ certification or equivalent a plus.
