Job SummaryThe El Paso County Department of Public Works (DPW) is seeking a motivated engineer with strong technical and interpersonal skills to serve as a review engineer on our Development Services team. Bachelor's degree in engineering.
Six years of progressive civil engineering experience, with three years of leadership experience of professional staff.
Preferred Education and ExperienceEngineer/ Senior Engineer :
Major study in civil engineering.
Experience with engineering-related software/programs, such as computer-aided design (CAD), geographic information systems (GIS), and MS Project.
Licenses/CertificatesAssociate Engineer :
Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license.
Engineer Intern Certification required, or equivalent combination of experience and education as approved by Colorado Department of Regulatory Agencies (DORA) for Professional Engineer (PE) Licensing Requirements. Acceptable equivalence must be demonstrated by documented allowance from DORA to qualify for PE exam.
Engineer/ Senior Engineer :
Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license.
