Description We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Executive Assistant to provide exceptional administrative support to senior leadership within a government organization. The Executive Assistant position is a contract-to-hire opportunity, offering a pathway to a full-time role. The ideal candidate will be proactive, professional, and capable of managing a wide range of executive-level administrative tasks in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.Key Responsibilities:

Manage calendars and schedules, including arranging meetings, appointments, and travel for executives.

Prepare and edit correspondence, reports, and presentations with accuracy and professionalism.

Act as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, ensuring clear and timely communication.

Handle confidential and sensitive information with the utmost discretion.

Coordinate and organize executive-level meetings, including preparing agendas, taking minutes, and following up on action items.

Maintain and organize files, documents, and records in compliance with government standards and protocols.

Monitor and manage email correspondence, prioritizing and responding as appropriate on behalf of the executive.

Assist with special projects and initiatives as needed.

Requirements

Proven experience as an Executive Assistant or in a similar role, preferably within a government or public sector environment.Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and other relevant software.Exceptional organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.High level of professionalism and the ability to interact with stakeholders at all levels.Knowledge of government protocols and procedures is a plus.Bachelor’s degree in business administration, public administration, or a related field is preferred but not required.Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
