Perform high quality images and exams on patients while maintaining the sensitivity to patient needs. Follows standards of safe radiation practice. Demonstratesleadership abilities and is a role model for other associate technologists. Acts as a clinical resource to students, staff technologist and other hospital personnel. Assures current standards of practice for the unit. Provides shift leadership and support to the Imaging staff.What You Bring/Job Requirements:In addition to bringing your whole self to the workplace each day, qualified candidates will need the following:
Two years of previous Radiologic Technologist experience.
Previous leadership experience, preferred.
Knowledgeable in all aspects of Diagnostic Imaging to include Surgery and Trauma as required.
HS GED or equivalent required
Associates Degree strongly preferred
Bachelors Degree preferred
Registered Technologist, Radiology - R.T. (R) (ARRT) required
BLS through American Heart Association required
Bone Density certification preferred within 6 months of hire, if applicable to entity (Avista Adventist Hospital)
