We need your help.Our team is looking for an experienced SDET with an enterprise Software background who can work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. In this position, you will work with a small team supporting the development of the Air Force’s Astrodynamics Standards to conceive and implement a test framework comprised of both manual and automated test solutions that will maintain their overall quality and reliability.Duties and Responsibilities

Design and develop functional, operational and system test framework for astrodynamics standards interfaces, algorithms, applications, and functions

Collaborate with Astro Standards developers and users to troubleshoot and diagnose issues leading to improved software resiliency

Become familiar with Astro Standards applications inputs, processes, outputs and operational uses

Use and expand upon existing API test automation framework

Design and write software in a functional style combined with object-oriented techniques

Work with users and developers to identify, analyze, troubleshoot and document defects

Participate in test planning, project status meetings and reviews

Demonstrate good attention to detail

Required Skills

Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in a technical discipline. Relevant experience may be accepted in place of degree

Minimum of 5 years of automated testing experience

Experience creating automated test framework

Extensive experience with Java

Knowledge of SDLC and software development best practices

Experience with Functional, Operational, Regression, Integration and Performance Testing

Experience writing test plans, test scenarios, test cases, execution of test cases and documentation and interpretation of test results

Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical personnel

Eligible to obtain a Department of Defense Secret security clearance which requires US citizenship

Desired Skills

Astrodynamics, orbital mechanics, space operations knowledge and experience

Experience testing API, SOAP and REST web services (XML to include WSDL, XSD, and XPath/XQuery)

Experience with Linux and Windows (Shared Objects and DLLs)

Experience in Verification and Validation

Experience with SQL commands and queries

Experience with scripting languages (e.g. Groovy, Python, DOS, PowerShell, JavaScript, BASH)

Experience working in an Agile Software Development environment using the Scrum methodology

Experience with C, C, C#, Java, Fortran, Python, MATLAB,

Previous experience with Jenkins, Kubernetes/Docker Swarm, Docker, and Git

Security+ Certification

Existing S or TS security clearance with DCID eligibility
