Description: As the Vindicator Team Lead of the Cheyenne Mountain Air Force Station (CMAFS) Video Systems Maintenance work center, the candidate will be responsible for directing team members in support of the various missions at Cheyenne Mountain AFS. Candidate will work on a 24X7 crew and is responsible for a variety of entry control, intrusion detection, and surveillance camera systems for the complex as a whole.Direct intrusion detection system equipment maintenanceEnsure crew meets response time for failures and scheduled daily/weekly tasks are completedIdentify, troubleshoot, repair and align failed equipment. Coordinate maintenance actions and access with Security Forces, Systems Center/Comm Focal Point/Job Control/Help DeskProvide first-line QC of maintenance actionsEnsure scheduled Preventive Maintenance and Corrosion Control Inspections are accomplished.Ensure crew training objectives are met and documented, including ancillary training (fire, HazMat)Oversee shift documentation (Shift Log/IMDS/REMEDY) inputsMonitor facility status and notify appropriate authority (Security Forces/CE), when necessaryMaintain facility security via strict access controlDry run Emergency Action Plans (EAP), as requiredPerform additional duties as assigned.Basic Qualifications:The Qualified candidate must have the ability to install, operate, maintain, repair, and modify equipment in support of 24X7 Cheyenne Mountain Air Force Station (CMAFS) Vindicator Systems Maintenance work center through a variety of maintenance and technical support on products such as equipment, integrated systems, and subsystems, and software at customer and field locations.- Ability to direct personnel on all shifts.- Must know how to analyze and evaluate product performances.- Know how to troubleshoot and diagnose malfunctions to eliminate problems in minimum time.- Installs upgrades and removes products ensuring coordinative engineering field change.- Must have knowledge of electronic fundamentals and the ability to work with various tools.- Must have a background in hardware maintenance, various types of test equipment and operations.- Excellent communications skills are required to address/provide status to, document problems, and to interface with a broad range of internal and external customers.Top Secret/SCI required.
