Must have a Bachelor's degree in Physics, Mathematics, or related Science / Engineering discipline.

Desire an advanced degree (e.g. Master's degree or Ph.D) in Physics, Mathematics, or related Science / Engineering discipline.

Must have familiarity with Linux and/or Unix based development.

Must have strong math and physics, including probability and statistics, linear algebra, and calculus.

Desire a strong analytical background including Monte Carlo analysis and statistical regression.

Must have ability to use MATLAB or similar languages (Python, Perl, Bash, Mathematica, JavaScript, etc.) to perform prototyping, data visualization, scripting, parsing, and functional programming.

Desire the ability to use MATLAB, Linux, databases, GIT, Jenkins/Hudson, Jira, and regular expressions.

Must be able to work both independently and in a team environment.

Must have the ability to thrive in a fast paced, dynamic work environment.

Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Desire experience with surveillance and target acquisition, track state estimation and correlation, track-to-truth mapping, state vectors, tracking covariances, coordinate conversions, time conversions, and EOIR/RF phenomenology, scheduling and resource management, identification and discrimination, battle management, signal processing, and/or orbital dynamics.

Desire experience with distributed application environments coded in Java, C, or other Object-Oriented languages.

The primary role will be providing technical expertise and analysis for the Experimentation Lab (X-Lab) organization on the Command and Control, Battle-Management, and Communications (C2BMC) program at Schriever Space Force Base, CO, which supports the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) and Space Force (SF) customers.

As a secondary role, the analyst will also be expected to occasionally contribute technical expertise and analysis in support of the co-located JEMINI organization on the C2BMC program.

The analyst is expected to work in an integrated team environment with other systems engineers, software developers, and analysts to develop solutions. The analyst will work closely with X-Lab and JEMINI agile teams to understand concepts, algorithms, and logging in order to build analysis tools, GUIs, and automated analysis / test reports.

The analyst will utilize math, physics, statistics, data parsing, plotting, and database techniques to analyze complex data related to command, control, track state vectors, covariances, and the tasking of EO/IR and RF sensors on experimental and operational software.

The analyst will design, develop, and extend Linux analysis tools in a configuration managed MATLAB toolbox that is shared across multiple teams and labs, primarily in MATLAB.

The analyst will use DevOps principles to setup and maintain nightly pipelines to support automated analysis / test and continuous integration testing.

The analyst will develop detailed analysis briefs and present briefings for flight tests and other events to both internal and external stakeholders.

Must hold a current DoD Secret clearance and willing to obtain a DoD Top Secret/SCI clearance.

Desire capability of supporting occasional domestic and foreign travel.

Desire capability of supporting occasional off-duty hours.
