Basic Functions With minimum supervision, builds and maintains software applications for company enterprise software, provides C# .NET programming and Microsoft SQL Server support for the Association Management System (AMS) and Content Management System (CMS), develops and maintains functionality on the company's website, and assists the Technology Department as needed. This developer works under the leadership of the Software Development Manager. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Specific Responsibilities:
- Builds and maintains software applications in the CMS and AMS using C# .NET and other various programming languages and frameworks (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, etc.) in a Visual Studio environment.
- Develops Web Services and APIs.
- Modifies and maintains MSSQL data sources.
- Creates, modifies, and maintains SQL Queries and Stored Procedures.
- Universe and Report development in SAP Business Objects and Web Intelligence Documents.
- Troubleshooting and addresses software related issues, requests, and defects. Performs identification, investigation, analysis, solution design, solution implementation, and resolution as necessary.
- Gathers and authors technical requirements and designs for AMS, CMS, and other third-party component integrations, in accordance with existing documentation templates.
- Analyzes enterprise software technical capabilities and participates in recommending solutions within a team of technical and non-technical staff.
- Participates as a developer in the software development lifecycle.
- Submits to regular code reviews and adheres to designated software development standards and requirements.
- Communicates and collaborates with staff members and third-party vendors as needed concerning software changes and maintenance, in meetings, electronically, and through maintaining issue tracking and project management software.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
- Bachelor's degree (B.A.) or equivalent related experience and/or training in web and software technologies.
- Broad programming experience (C#, .NET, MS Visual Studio, SQL, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, etc.) that includes both web and desktop applications.
- Possesses a strong understanding of object oriented programming, software architecture, and industry best practices.
- Strong background in database architecture.
- Demonstrated software full lifecycle experience including requirements gathering, design, source code control builds, testing, deployment, maintenance, change management, etc.
- Highly skilled in communications, collaboration, and team dynamics.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach with significant attention to detail.
- IIS and website host administration including the monitoring, accessibility, integrity, functionality, and performance of the organization's website.
