The Supervisor of Digital Application Support leads the team responsible for supporting application hosted in the cloud or 3rd party Software as a Service (SaaS) applications. Digital App support Supervisor will also lead the Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) function that is responsible for building enterprise automation solutions and advancing application monitoring. Both teams will work under the direction of the Supervisor of Digital Application Support to engage our end users, facilitate technology implementations for project activities (e.g. upgrades, deploy new applications or technology), and identify process improvement opportunities for business units. Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- The Supervisor of Digital Application Support leads the team responsible for supporting application hosted in the cloud or 3rd party application
- Work with the IT Operations Leadership Team to develop strategic direction of IT systems and support
- Ensure all digital applications are documented both architecturally and operationally.
- Proactive performance and capacity planning for key systems
- Ensuring Disaster Recovery capability of key systems
- Adherence to policies and procedures
- Ensure delivery of timely and cost-effective support of core digital systems.
- Analysis of business unit needs and ways in which applications can be configured/used to meet current and future needs.
- Develop understanding of systems and the way staff use systems to serve members.
- Project Management and oversight of Digital Application Support projects.
- Research and Testing:
- Research, test and recommend technology solutions.
- Mentoring/coaching.
- Ensuring/augmenting staff knowledge of credit union operations.
- Assist in setting goals and objectives for staff.
- Assist manager in coordinating activities of the team, i.e. scheduling, shift management and other administrative duties.
- Provide input to manager on staff performance relating to technology but does not prepare or deliver reviews.
- Readiness for recovery of workstations at various locations per recovery plan
- Support testing/certification of systems readiness by providing workstations and expertise on digital applications
- Work with the IT Operations Leadership Team to develop strategic direction of IT systems and support.
- Budget creation/accountability
- Manage purchases of equipment, software licenses, and maintenance contracts.
- Periodic review/reduction of vendor expenses
- Driving down the lights on cost of IT
- Strong communication skills (written, verbal, and listening) with specific ability to translate detailed technical details to a non-technical audience.
- Proven leadership experience and the ability to interface with all levels (executive to entry level).
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience in regulations and best practices for technical deployments in a financial industry.

- Proficiency with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Microsoft Project, and Visio.
- Knowledgeable in supporting applications hosted in Azure
