Job Title: Wheeler Flats ForemanJob Status: CORE (Full-Time, Year-Round)Job Summary:To assist in the management of everyday business operations including providing leadership and guidance in the development and supervision of staff at the Conoco and Sky Chutes Coffeehouse (Wheeler Flats), so as to accomplish service levels appropriate for the resort and to align with Copper's goals and objectives. It is important that someone who is self-motivated, enthusiastic, organized, hold this position and has good communication skills. They must be able to use Microsoft Word, Excel, and outlook. This position requires a person who can adequately assist the core Manager in accomplishing appropriate ordering, stocking, inventory management, cleanliness, training, safety and overall day to day business operations within the Wheeler Flats location.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Will complete training programs within 90 days of employment.

Supporting Manager for daily operation and production of their outlet.

Supports Manager in Ensuring the entire outlet operates under local and State food safety guidelines.

Supports Manager to ensure staff adheres to Copper Guidelines.

Performs foreman duties re: Paper work as requested by manager, costing of products as directed by manager, support of accountability of staff in relation to team expectations, Payroll (ADP), assistance in ordering as requested, communication to manager in relation to Employeereviews, Employee consultations, communication of challenges that may require disciplinary action by manager, first injury reports when manager isn't on site, team building, training, cleanliness of outlets, cash handling, opening and closing procedures within all outlets.

Financial: Assisting Manager as requested for Forecasting, Scheduling, and use of labor tool. Costing schedule, Variance reports and Cost transfers. COS management.

End of Month Responsibilities: Key support on end of month inventory counts and waste management

Supports Manager in key areas of focus in relation to labor and expense management, training, communication and roles/responsibilities

Checks quality of all food and beverage served and produced.

Supports all food safety and health safety guidelines and expectations.

Support in team organization, invoicing, reporting and opening and closing of operation.

Supports manager to ensure that staff has proper (usable) equipment to

Leads through example, hands on, front line operations and core projects within outlet.

Assists manager with costing, ordering and receiving all provisions needed for outlet operation.

Supports company's goals and philosophies

Multi-unit foreman assists in supervision of all outlets

Timely in regards to meetings, reports and deadlines.

Sets example and develops all staff as needed or requested by manager.

Performs all duties in own outlet and any outlet they may be assisting in.

Is not responsible for but assists manager with regard to staff meeting all expectations within outlet; inclusive of but not limited to areas such as timeliness, appearance, communication, team play, work ethic, cash handling, open/closing of operations, waste, cost of sale management, health and safety standards and front line operations.

Supports Manager in the Recognition and development of key staff members with the effective use of delegation

Administration Duties:

Assisting Manager in Scheduling, reforecasting, inventory, conflict resolutions, PA's, 1:1's, budget development, end of month review, daily operations, open/closing procedures, cost of sale management, reporting, sales mix analysis, standard operating procedures and overall success of operation and employee satisfactionetc.

Guest Service Duties:

Responsible for the positive interaction and/or correction needed with any guest service person regardless if they are internal or external

Supervisory Responsibilities:Overseeing the FOH aspects of the following outlets: Sky Chutes and Conoco (Wheeler Flats). This role has no main direct report but works with the core manager to support internal expectations, goals both financially and employee based. This position is responsible to support the direction and leadership of said manager for over 10 staff members. We do not expect the foreman to perform the Hiring, firing duties within the outlet; however, we do ask that strong communication is provided during times of management absence regarding challenges that may arise while core manager is off duty or on vacation. The foreman should feel confident, mentoring staff members as an example, training new staff, correcting small concerns relating to POS management, inventory, stocking, first-in/first-out, cleanliness objectives and supporting key initiatives within outlets. In this role the foreman, you will take direction from your managerThis role needs to be professional, look for ways to improve the operation and ensure their time is well managed.We look for the foreman to be equally effective in their time at all locations; however, core focus areas within this outlet may be best determined by the core manager and group manager based on business needs.Personal Attributes:

Basic Requirements:

The ability to lift 50 pounds

Standing or walking for up to six hours at a time

The use of hands and arms for periods of up to six hours, peripheral, color, and depth vision are essential

Must own non-slip shoes

Is proficient in a wide variety of culinary skills, assists in the training of all staff to the appropriate standards.

Point of sale management (opening/closing procedures)

Responsible for quantity and quality of production in entire kitchen and/or line operation

In-depth knowledge of classical and contemporary culinary techniques

Thoroughly understands financial procedures used at this resort.

Ability to dissect a P&L statement and produce an accurate variance report
