Looking to get our equine facility up and running again. Before you respond, read through the entire post and especially the requirements below. Veterans are given preference. Tobacco and recreational drug-free property.
We have hired a facility manager/maintenance man for this equine boarding facility. The facility is looking great.
Now, we would like to bring on an independent contractor to train and teach out of this barn. Aside from a nominal fee to the farm for outside horses brought to the farm for training or lessons; you run your own business and keep what you earn.
The facility been off-line for a three or four years. Ultimately, it has a barn with 18 stalls (7 of which are in the heated portion) and washrack; 5 runs with shelters, a second barn with 8 stalls, 80 acres with shelters, fenced and crossed fenced; outdoor arena; several roundpens, and the list goes on. Looking to add another 12 stalls with runs this Spring.
Are you entrepreneurial? Would you like to get involved in a "new" facility - right from the development of the business plan. Are you an exemplary instructor/trainer that would like the freedom to create his or her own barn? Are you compassionate in your treatment of animals? Able to pass a background check for working with children?

DO NOT RESPOND TO THIS POST UNLESS YOU CAN SUBSTANTIATE:
-Experience with all aspects of equine care (i.e. you can work with a farrier and assist with veterinary care) ;
-Like to be "hands-on";
-Entrepreneurial;
-Understanding of horse facility operations - customer service, riding, boarding, instruction, competition; and,
-You want to build your own book of training and instructional business and potential share in the overall success of the Farm.
