JOB DESCRIPTION:
We are looking to hire a Digital Printing Production Assistant who has the necessary skills (or can be trained) to set-up files, print and produce orders and ship out without supervision.
You must be organized, have good math skills and sufficient technical expertise to problem solve and prioritize our digital printing workload.
You will be required to set-up simple job orders such as business cards or flyers for printing, or make changes/updates to existing orders mostly using Adobe InDesign.
We print using Konica digital printers via Fiery command workstation and Finishing work is done using bindery equipment, cutters, drilling, shrink wrap etc. (Must be comfortable around small equipment)
REQUIREMENTS:
Graphic design skills and be at least semi-creative.
Experience using Adobe InDesign (Photoshop, Word, Excel, Publisher is preferred).
Ability to interact, present ideas and communicate professionally with customers.
Detail oriented and good time management.
Good general math skills.
Ability to work by yourself at times.
20-25 hours per week (possibility of more hours later on if wanted)
Must be available from 11am - 5pm / Monday - Friday
