Ray Allen Manufacturing, LLC., a direct marketing company focused on the niche pet markets with roots in Colorado Springs for over 65 years, has an immediate opening for the right person in our light manufacturing department.
Job duties include but not limited to:
-Operating stationary saws, drill presses and a related power/hand tools
-Operate equipment related to cut and sew operations
-Operate leatherworking equipment
-Assemble, label and package products
-Maintain materials and supplies in the work area
-Perform routine preventative maintenance on tools and equipment in the work area
-Maintain work area keeping it organized and clean
-Follow safe work practices and company policies
-Ability to lift 50 lbs
-Stand for prolonged periods of time doing repetitive work
-Other duties as assigned
The right candidate should display the following qualities:
-Dependable, reliable and able to perform duties with minimal supervision
-Demonstrate the ability to read a tape measure and do basic math equations
-Demonstrate safe practices and an aptitude for working with power tools
-Able to interact positively with peers and supervisors
-Demonstrate excellent follow through and attention to detail
This is a Monday-Friday 40/hr per week full-time entry level position. Working hours 6:50 am to 3:20 pm.
