Quality Technician (Colorado Springs)

Volt is currently filling a direct hire Quality Technician opportunity with a superb engineering firm in Colorado Springs. Must have a great attitude and strong attention to detail.Primary job duties:Conduct incoming, in-process and final inspections on a variety of parts, components and assembliesPerformance electrical inspections to the requirements of the IPC J-STD-001, Space Addendum standardsPerform mechanical inspections using various types of calibrated inspection tools such as: calipers, micrometers, drop indicators, pin gauges, thread gauges, height gauges and surface finish comparators.Document and report non-conforming partsTrack and assist in the resolution of issuesAssist Quality Manager with updating internal Quality System proceduresJob requirements:3 years of Quality Control electrical and mechanical inspection experience to IPC J-STD-001 and Space Addendum standardsCertification to the IPC J-STD-001ES will be required.Familiarity with AS9100 & ISO9000 Quality System requirements; primarily calibration and document control systemsProficiency with Microsoft Office applicationlCertification to J-STD with Space Addendum preferredQuality System internal audit experiencepreferredExperience with CAD software applicationspreferredPay is $20 to $25 an hour DOEVolt is an Equal Opportunity Employer
