Accounting Assistant
Non-profit looking for a detail oriented person with experience in accounting tasks. Must have excellent organization and time management skills.
2+ years' experience with AR, AP, GL and Bank Recs.
Knowledge of bookkeeping, accounting, budgeting, audit and GAAP.
Proficiency in Excel, Word and Outlook with strong typing/10-key skills necessary.
Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
Process credit card, check, EFT donations.
Generate donation or acknowledgement letters.
Prepare Journal Entries.
Monthly account reconciliations.
Candidate must have a high rate of accuracy along with the ability to multi-task and prioritize work.
Strong communication skills.
Accounting degree preferred
