TWOCOR, a Christian faith-based agency serving youth in treatment and training seeks individual for the Program Supervisor position

General Purpose:

The Program Supervisor provides direct supervision of youth counselors and programmatic groups with teams of both youth and staff. Program Supervisor oversees all youth/staff interactions and actions during the Tuesday through Saturday schedule as the Manager on Duty. This individual will need to provide trauma informed leadership to both clients and staff, maintain a calm demeanor to ensure safety for all program activities, and provide effective communication to youth counselors and managers.

Minimal Requirements:

Provides leadership during pre-program planning, start of programming, and all transitions throughout program

Program Supervisor provides line of sight supervision, coaching to staff, and ensures trauma informed interactions and culture remain constant

Program Supervisor provides support to struggling youth and staff throughout all programs

Available to work evenings and Saturdays

Minimum Education and Experience Requirements:

Minimum of Bachelors Degree or 5 years experience with social service agency

A minimum of one-year experience in supervision or management

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required:

Ability to operate Microsoft Office applications especially Excel and Word

Desire to learn and apply trauma-informed principles in all tasks

De-escalation knowledge and experience

Knowledge of and experience in group dynamic theory and group facilitation

Ability to manage and organize schedule

Address youths behaviors with a trauma-informed intervention

Address staffs behavior with trauma-informed supervision

Ability giving and receiving direct feedback

Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with youth and staff

Providing accurate and timely communication, verbally and in writing

Managing the schedules and program placement for youth

Communicate effectively and work closely with case management to support youths attendance

Communicate effectively with management including clinical team to support youths progress and success

Ability to implement programmatic changes according to management and clinical shifts

Ideal Candidate Skills & Experience:

Motivational Interviewing training complete

Experience in experiential education or therapeutic setting

Experience in case conceptualization

MSW or MA in a human service industry

Experience in the implementation and conceptualization of trauma informed care

Team and/or programmatic development

Flexible amongst ambiguity

Self-aware of presence and impact of group

Passionate about implementing the newest trauma informed activities

Integrity to maneuver and address conflict resolution

Sees out opportunities to provide and practice emotional regulatory exercises with both youth and staff

Previous experience supervising teams of staff and youth

Value the Christ-based foundation of TwoCor

Previous experience with group dynamics

Motivates to create an accepting and welcoming atmosphere

Ability to address and shift the energy of groups

Values movement and experiential approaches to healing

Possesses ability to be extroverted, compassionate, and empathetic

Possesses ability to create and hold boundaries, hold others accountable, and redirect actions of both staff and youth

Ability to work in unison with a team of managers, clinicians, and youth counselors

Experience leading group supervision desired
