Established Colorado Springs commercial real estate and management company is seeking an Administrative Assistant.

We are seeking the ideal Administrative Assistant who is looking for the opportunity to take on the rewarding challenges of a growing commercial real estate company. Candidate must exhibit the desire and ability to create, implement, and manage multiple tasks with minimal supervision. Candidate must be self-starter. Candidate must be proficient in MS Office Suite. Candidate must be comfortable with shifting responsibilities each day. Quality, attention to detail and consistent communication is an absolute must. We are NOT looking for someone interested in starting their real estate career with us. This is strictly an administrative role!

Compensation: $13-$14/hour with a potential for growth

Weekly hours: 15-20 hours per week

Responsibilities to include, but not limited to:

Answer phones

Assist property manager and bookkeeper with monthly billings and payments.

Assist with annual budget preparation

General office work as requested

Ability to work with difficult tenants and owners

Manage third party services; HVAC, plumbing, roofing, etc.

Filing

Data entry; updating files regularly

Research information via the internet

Minimum Qualifications:

Proficient in Microsoft Office; specifically Excel, Word. AppFolio experience a plus.

OUTSTANDING grammar and spelling skills a must, you will be tested.

Self-starter

Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) and attention to detail

Ability to think quickly and make decisions

Ability to prioritize and manage shifting responsibilities

Must be able to work independently, take initiative, and be very organized

Ability to work effectively with a diverse set of personalities

Creative problem-solving ability

High school graduate or equivalent, some college preferred

Reliable transportation and current auto insurance
