We are a progressively expanding construction company performing all facets of horizontal construction contracts primarily with the Federal Government over nine Western States. Site Work Solutions is a privately held construction firm with offices located in Redding, California and Denver, Colorado. Our individual contracts vary in size from 1K 6M with a large portion of our work being self-performed. Currently we have over $8.5 Million in back-log and have $10+ Million in projects pending award.

If there are candidates residing in the Colorado Springs area with experience with (DOD) Department of Defense contracting, we would be interested in opening a satellite office to support our work efforts in this vicinity.

Requirements:

Ability to manage projects cradle to grave from estimate to project completion while staying within the confines of budget and schedule. Thorough understanding of certified cost based estimating principles, complete understanding of formal project management processes/procedures. Flexibility to manage many different responsibilities with accuracy and forthwith. Candidate will possess impeccable personal integrity and business ethics, and a demonstrated track record as a team player who places ultimate value not just on his/her own achievement but on elevating the entire team.

-Forthcoming with recommendations

-Strength in reading comprehension/understanding detailed acquisition regulation requirements

within project requirements and ability to provide interpretation and directives to support staff

-Strategic planning

-Resource identification and allocation

-Prime contract management

-Ability to multitask between various contract types and sizes

-Issuance of purchase orders

-Safety supervision / compliance / guidance

-Analyze alternative solutions and construction methods to increase competitiveness

-Ability to interface with clients and in-house support staff

-Cost control analysis and report writing

-Follow company written procedures for written / electronic document control procedures

-Proficient in Microsoft Office programs

-Comprehensive experience with construction management software programs (Provide specifics

regarding your proficiency)

-Prepare cost loaded / resource loaded / critical path schedules

-Subcontract preparation and subcontractor management

-Team participation with the following departments: Human Resources, Equipment Managers,

-Extremely comfortable working in a technology-driven environment

-Willingness to travel as needed, but typically it is minimal
