Description of Duties/Responsibilities

Manage employee PCs.

Provide technical support to employees and Independent Contractors (ICs) by telephone and instant message.

Provide technical support for conventions both onsite and remotely.

Monitor and manage our equipment inventory.

Test, monitor, ship, & receive all equipment used for rental.

Manage our technical infrastructure.

Be available for off-hours on-call support as needed by other employees and for customers during a regular rotation.

Report to Vice President of Technology.

General office support

Other duties as required

Requirements

Able to communicate effectively.

Knowledgeable about PCs, servers, networks, and common communication systems.

Available for travel.

Have a positive and pleasant outlook and demeanor.

Have and maintain strong written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to multi-task with good time-management skills.

Demonstrate initiative, a strong positive work ethic, and be detail oriented.

Have available for use a properly maintained vehicle.

Maintain a valid driver's license and positive driving record.

Have or acquire a strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint) and other software required by this position.

Ability to learn the requirements and operation of CART (Communication Access Realtime Translation) and captioning equipment and software.

Maturity and professionalism with a positive and pleasant outlook

Desire and ability to be part of a demanding & intense environment

Demonstrate willingness to work and deal with people who have disabilities

Ability to work in a home-based business environment which includes dogs
