Ray Allen Manufacturing, LLC, a direct marketing company focused on the niche pet markets with roots in Colorado Springs for over 65 years, has an immediate opening for the right person in our Customer Service department. This position will be split between customer service duties and providing general phone/email support for our vehicle heat alert systems. The ideal candidate will have some experience in the automotive space.
This experience is not limited to but can include any one of the following:
-General automotive service
-Parts counter sales
-Car audio installation
-Basic understanding of DC electrical circuits and wiring
-Ability to demonstrate general knowledge of automotive electrical systems (door locks, power windows, etc.)
Job duties include but not limited to:
-Respond to support requests for our vehicle heat alert systems
-Quick thinking and ability to execute solutions to customer issues
-Responding to customer requests
-Taking orders by phone and e-mail
-Responding to customer product inquiries and order status
-Maintain and update customer information as necessary
The right candidate should display the following qualities:
-Dependable, reliable and able to perform duties with minimal supervision
-Able to interact positively with customers, peers and supervisors
-Demonstrate excellent follow through and attention to detail
-Ability to provide excellent customer service while adhering to company policies
Preferred Experience:
Prior automotive background with retail or customer service experience a plus.
Required Education:
High School Diploma or GED required.

Work hours will typically be Mon-Fri, 7:30-4:00 or 8:00-4:30 and may vary depending on seasonal volume.
