We are a boutique CPA firm focusing on small to mid-sized clients with complex tax and accounting needs. While our firm is very tax focused, we have developed a significant accounting and bookkeeping practice. We need a dedicated manager who can focus on several of our largest client relationships while working efficiently and communicating effectively with staff, partners, and clients. We are also not interested in working with any recruiters or recruiting firms.
Job Responsibilities:
Manage a book of existing client relationships, providing ongoing bookkeeping and accounting support
Year end G/L clean up for clients with in-house bookkeeping
Transaction data entry & reconciliation in a timely manner.
Working knowledge of multiple business facets - sales tax; workmen's comp; personal prop tax; etc
Thorough knowledge of payroll processing and reporting
Prepare monthly and quarterly financial statements
Job Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Additional Experience
5+ years of experience
Expert in QB, QBO, Proficient in Excel
Excellent time management skills
Open to instruction and constructive criticism
Professionalism; Good written and oral communication skills
We need someone sharp and self-motivated who works well independently and completes tasks competently and efficiently; must have strong abilities for critical thinking and problem solving. It is essential that our new member be a team player. We are a small but skilled group of professionals who need someone who is excited for and open to growing with our team and firm.
