Busy, fast paced accounting office looking for an extremely capable and committed full charge bookkeeper/accountant who likes a challenge. Must have a very comprehensive understanding of Full Charge Bookkeeping in all areas which include:
Bank, Credit Card and Liability Account Reconciliations
AR/AP full cycle
Payroll and Payroll Taxes
General Journal Entries
Financial Statement Preparation-Reviews and processes P&L's and Balance Sheets
Prepare Quarterly Tax Filings including Year End W-2's/W-3's
Have solid understanding of Payroll and Payroll Processing
Sales tax and Sales Tax Reporting
Strong Organizational and Communication Skills
Minimum Qualifications:
5+ Years of accounting and full-charge bookkeeping/accounting experience.
5+ years solid experience working with QuickBooks Pro Desktop. Online QB experience would be helpful but not required.
Education with accounting emphasis will be given priority. Will consider applications with relevant experience and skill set in the field.
Previous experience working for an Accounting firm with multiple clients is a plus.
Good working knowledge in Word and Excel software. Has excellent 10 key and data entry skills.
Must have very strong attention to detail, good listener and able to follow specific instructions.
Must be able to work independently with little or no supervision.
