We are responsible for developing and implementing state-of-the-art software and processes to support our fund management, trading, compliance, distribution and operational areas and for maintaining a stable and resilient IT infrastructure platform.The Finance & HR Technology departments support all of Finance & HR IT requirements. The team is split between Denver and London in accordance with our user base. The systems we support are primarily SAP based however there is a growing contingent of other applications both cloud-based and on premise.Job Overview Reporting to the Global Finance Systems Manager you will be responsible for the support and enhancement activities for SAP FICO, AM, AP, AR in addition to various auxiliary systems. Working together with members of IT and Finance, you will be the first line support for the Finance and Procurement departments for queries and issues. In addition to the on-going system activities, you will be pivotal in the delivery of changes and enhancements to the existing solution, as well as new projects. You will have the opportunity of learning new technologies outside of SAP FICO to support the roadmap of the Finance Technology Platforms.Duties and responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end work, from collecting requirements, design changes, implement them and promote them to the live system under direction of the SAP Finance Systems Manager
  • Work within the established change framework to ensure appropriate prioritization and testing of changes
  • Continuously and proactively seek improvement to the system by understanding customers activities and challenges
  • Become a trusted business partner by customers and one of the main points of contact for queries/issues in the SAP Finance Systems
  • Provide end user support and training as required
  • Produce documentation for design, testing, and support of both users and administrators
  • Conduct periodic system reviews with key stakeholders and proactively follow-up on activities
  • Liaise with the Basis / Security / ABAP developers as required
  • Work using the Agile methodology and leverage collaboration tools (e.g. Jira, Confluence, AHA, ServiceNow, teams)
  • Support internal and external audit requests
Supervisory ResponsibilitiesAssist the Global Finance System Manager with managing SAP Basis activities/resources including system refreshes, server updates, disaster recovery activities, patches, transports, change controls, and timing within sprints.Assist the Global Finance System Manager with managing SAP 3rd party developer/functional support hours as well as an in-house technical specification repositoryTechnical Skills and Qualifications

FICO Specific
  • 5+ years experience with SAP Finance Systems
  • Maintains and enhances the SAP Financials modules including: FI (including asset accounting), CO.
  • Accountable for all SAP interface systems integration to multiple 3rd party systems. Responsible for design, configuration, testing, and documentation, including functional specifications.
  • Configuration and understanding the Finance system landscape, which includes various SAP modules (SAP FICO / BW / BPC) as well as ancillary/integrated systems (e.g., Concur, Basware)
Preferred
  • Knowledge of operations, front office, risk, performance team activities
  • Experience working on a global team and with stakeholders across the globe
  • Knowledge of SFTP, Autosys, File transfers, and mapping of interfaces
  • SAP ABAP skills, debugging, technical specifications, code writing, code review
