Parker Montessori is seeking a certified Montessori teacher with at least 2-5 years of experience to work with our Primary and toddler children for an immediate start date. Excellent communication skill as well as classroom management skill is a must. The candidate must have a commitment to contribute to a wonderful team of educators working in excellent Montessori environment. This individual must be flexible, a creative thinker, and able to multi task and personable. Benefits include a competitive salary, medical insurance and retirement package and also paid vacation.
For the lead position only Montessori certified & experienced teachers will be considered.
We also have Full time and part-time openings for caring fun loving teacher assistants to join our school community.
Education, Experience and Attributes:
ECT teacher qualifications
Knowledge of Montessori principles are an asset
Experience working with toddler/preschool age group.
Be respectful, flexible, compassionate and demonstrate sound work ethics
Clearly and effective communicate in a manner that children understand and are comfortable with
Ability and desire to think creatively about ideas and materials
Creative, fun and caring personality
Ability to multi-task, focusing on several competing priorities
Strong interpersonal skills
Ensure a safe environment for children where they must be under direct supervision at all times
Manage classroom environment and make sure it reflects the thematic curriculum
Ensure equipment and facility are clean, well maintained and safe at all times Provide various experiences and activities for children including songs, games and story time
Take precautions to ensure the health and safety of all children, parents and staff as necessary
