We are located and serve clients throughout the Front Range
Wonder Years is seeking enthusiastic, compassionate and energetic job coaches who believes that everyone deserves the opportunity for meaningful employment in the community.
What is a Job Coach?
Job Coach responsibilities include:
Work 1:1 with individuals with disabilities to help them develop skills to find success in employment.
Assists adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities with maintaining competitive employment by providing one-on-one job coaching and support.
Function as the main point of contact between the individual, the agency and employers.
Help individuals achieve greater independence and have meaningful engagement in the community through gainful employment.
Experience in the Developmental Disability field preferred but not required. Training and support are provided. Hours of employment vary depending on the individual's schedule.
Requirements:
Ability to perform basic computer operations - Microsoft Office Suite, Excel worksheets, Internet, email to maintain detailed documentation, records and reports
Pass a criminal background check
Possess a valid Colorado driver's license and a clean driving record
Good written and spoken communication skills
Willingness and ability to work as a team player
Ability to work in a flexible and constantly changing work environment, and to deal effectively with shifting roles, responsibilities, and expectations
Demonstrated skill in and desire for working with adults with developmental disabilities
Ability and willingness to safely lift 50 lbs
Willingness and ability to respond to emergency situations as they arise
