JOB SUMMARYResponsible for leading the definition, development and evolution of Charter's WiFi systems for Charter's Spectrum Community Solutions appliying expert knowledge on enterprise grade wireless technologies to deliver a multi-year roadmap for Charter's MDU-centric WiFi products. Reports to the GVP of WiFi and Connected Home and leads a cross-functional team including direct reports. The ideal candidate has extensive experience leading product development, a deep knowledge of wireless products, and a vision for how Charter can merge historical, enterprise grade wireless systems with modern cloud based, opensource wireless solutions.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESGrow and foster a small team of Product Managers and analysts while working cross functionally across the organization.

Define, develop and launch a Fiber-active Ethernet based architecture on a Plume/Opensync based WiFi solution technology.

Applies a strong understanding of product development processes to lead the execution of all product development initiatives for MDU centric WiFi products, holding the organization accountable to deliver the product roadmap.

Manages capital budgets of related product development initiatives.

Defines product features and requirements for MDU-centric Wifi products, setting usability and performance standards.

Develops effective partnerships between the Product Management team and the other supporting functional organizations (Wireles Engineering, Software Development, IT, Customer Operations, external partners, etc.) to properly interpret and deliver to the product requirements.

Maintains a strong technical knowledge of wireless technologies and able to collaborate effectively with Engineering groups.

Ensures alignment between the business operational strategies and technical solutions.

Accountable to the customer experience and the Sales/Marketing teams for the Spectrum Community Solutions (SCS) business unit.

Supports business development and strategic partnerships for MDU-centric wireless products, assessing potential partnerships, negotiating related deals, and managing resulting relationships, working closely with business development.

Analyzes performance metrics of MDU WiFi Solutions to recommend product improvements.

Works closely with the in-home wireless product manager to ensure a seamless integration between out-of-home and in-MDU wireless products.

The pay for this position has a salary range of $120,700.00 to $213,900.00. The actual salary offer will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience and location. Also, certain positions are eligible for additional forms of compensation such as bonuses.
