Description The Lead Solar Fleet Engineer will work directly with the Project Mangement Team and the O&M team. Your role will be to work with the assigned teams to monitor the Portfolio or Fleet of Renewable Energy Projects the Client has in North America, You will detect any performance issues and work with the correct teams to ensure that all of the projects in the portfolio are operating at their optimal capacity. 20% - Perform fleet reliability analysis on assigned assets to assess performance and reliability and quantify future risk of failure and operational expense. 30% - Perform (and/or manage third party consultants) in conducting Root Cause Analysis to determine primary reasons for technical issues affecting plant operations. 30% - Perform (and/or manage third party consultants) in developing Engineering Solutions to technical issues while providing technical assistance to warranty claims processes. 10% - Coordinate efforts between Field Engineers, Asset Managers, and site technicians to develop and implement improvements to site performance and reliability. 5% - Perform reliability studies using Weibull analysis of various equipment to predict failure lifetimes on major components. The right Lead Solar Fleet Engineer will have: Have a minimum 3 Years working as a Fleet Engineer for Utility Scale or DG projects. Experinece with Route Cause Analysis, Electrical Distribution Equipment. Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering Preferred. Expert knowledge up systems used in Utility Scale Renewable Energy Projects. Knowledge with PV Systems, Wind Turbins, Battery Systems Preffered. Excellent written and oral communication. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite. Confident in one's ability, yet able to lead a team to be successful This client is one of the largest Independent Power Producers in the world, focused on Renewable Energy.
