DescriptionAccountemps is seeking an Accounts Payable (A/P) Clerk available for a long-term temporary vacancy on a quickly expanding team at a thriving company. Serving as the Accounts Payable Clerk, you will match, batch, and code invoices, resolve A/P issues, process expense reports, update and reconcile sub-ledger to G/L, and process checks. You will be working alongside a strong staff of hard working individuals who have a team minded approach. Based out of the Denver, Pennsylvania area, the Accounts Payable Clerk will be a long-term temporary opening.Major responsibilities
Complete special projects on an as-needed basis
Provide support during internal and external audits
Handle the customer service needs of internal business partners
Conduct full-cycle A/P
Verify, log and send checks, including facilitating special handling
Handle administrative tasks for the AP/Finance Department
Open, organize, and distribute department mail daily
Ensure compliance with company policies while carrying out daily processes and controls accurately and on time
Organize, register, scan, and file invoices, checks, and other documents
Requirements
Prior experience in an A/P role preferred
High attention to detail
Solid understanding of Microsoft Excel
Articulate customer service and interpersonal skills, especially when interacting with those in the technical and financial backgrounds
Competent with spreadsheets and databases
AA or BS/BA degree in Accounting, Business or similar preferred
