Job Type: FTE/Direct Hire or Six month contract position - candidate's choice! Key Responsibilities:The Global Technology department plays a crucial role in supporting the success of the business. They are responsible for developing and implementing state-of-the-art software and hardware and maintenance to support our fund management, trading, distribution and operational areas with secure, stable and resilient technology platforms. Overview of the role

  • You will collaborate with the business to gather and document requirements to improve existing and build new systems and processes.
  • Work with the Product Owners, Business Stakeholders, Project Managers / Scrum Masters, data analysts, data architects and developers to define solutions and implement change
  • Take ownership for changes assigned to you, including facilitating the required meetings, acquiring sign-off of acceptance criteria and managing to implementation
  • Translate business requirements into technical requirements and solution design
  • Conduct data sourcing from JHIs data platform to support detailed analysis
  • Produce quality test plans and lead all aspects of system and user testing either as an individual or in conjunction with other teams
  • Collaborate closely with the wider technology teams to coordinate interdependencies and resolve issues
  • Oversee risks and issues effectively with timely escalation to the Product Owner or Change Delivery Lead
  • Carry out additional duties as assigned
  • Work with the Product Owners, Business Stakeholders, Project Managers / Scrum Masters, data analysts, data architects and developers to define solutions and implement change

Previous experience of working with the following products is highly favorable:
  • MSCI products (RiskMetrics and BarraOne)
  • CRD (Charles River Development) order management system

  • Understand and follow laws and regulations applicable for your role, seeking the help of your supervising manager or Compliance if additional guidance is required
  • Understand and abide by all Janus Henderson policies applicable to your role, and seek support/guidance of the policy owner guidance when required
  • You are ultimately accountable for your actions and responsible for seeking further information on any or all of the above as necessary.
