Link Technologies (LinkTechConsulting.com) is seeking a Cisco Network Engineer for a 6+ month contract opportunity in the Denver, CO area. Position Description
- Configure Cisco switches
- Design horizontal cabling
- Deploying network infrastructure to new construction and remodeled spaces
- Upgrade connectivity at sites throughout the Denver Metro area
- Act as liaison between stakeholders and vendors as needed
- Partner with stakeholders and vendors to understand known and needed processes, infrastructure, system, and integration requirements
- Create functional analysis documentation which identifies and recommends resolution of any technology/application/network/security gaps.
- Prepare final documentation for review and approval with stakeholders, ensuring appropriate detail available to drive confidence with and approval of design solutions Required Skills & Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in network administration and or engineering
- Recent professional experience deploying network infrastructure to new construction and/or remodeled spaces
- Must hold a current CCNA/CCNP
- Background in running, pulling, terminating, and splicing both fiber and a variety of ethernet and twisted pair cable connections
- Experience writing and maintaining technical documentation
- Knowledge of AV products is a plus (Teams, Poly Video Conerencing, Digital Signage)
- Knowledge of Cisco wireless products is a plus
- Must be open to working early morning or evening hours on occasion as needed
- Must have transportation to travel to various sites throughout the Denver metro area as needed Work Location
