- Minimum 3 years of current, professional experience with intermediate to advanced functionality of Power BI
- The desired start date is 10/10/2022 and the engagement will be 40 hours per week, reporting to the manager of the Data & Analytics Team. The duration of the engagement is expected to be at least 6 months with the potential to extend up to 12 months.
- Provide excellent customer service and communication
- Represent Technology Services and the Data Team in a professional manner during interactions with peers and customers
- Act as Power BI subject matter expert and address any questions or concerns with the tool
- Use ServiceNow for workload management, task completion, work notes, and customer communication.
- Collaborate with other data analysts, data engineers, and data architects on the team to effectively manage workload and troubleshoot technical issues
- Troubleshoot and resolve common technical errors related to reporting, such as data source connections, invalid credentials, gateway issues, etc.
- Make suggestions for any processes which are lacking or present a risk and help improve them
- Identify, recommend, and deliver recommendations which improve enterprise-wide systems
- Follow TS best practices, including documentation, project, and change management processes
- Minimum 3 years of current, professional experience with intermediate to advanced functionality of Power BI
- 1-3 years of experience with SQL Server databases
- Proficient with Microsoft suite, specifically Sharepoint and Outlook
- Experience or education with additional SaaS or cloud technologies (preferred experience with any or all of the following: AWS, Snowflake, Fivetran, ServiceNow, Salesforce, Workday, Accela)
- Preferred but not required - exposure or familiarity with data governance or data catalog tools, such as Collibra, Alation, or Informatica
- Experience with documenting business requirements
